On May 2, 1929, eight members of Oklahoma Agriculture and Mechanical College petitioned for the establishment of an Eta Kappa Nu chapter. Their exemplary attitude, scholarship, and performance in the Electrical Engineering field resulted in the formation of the Omega Chapter. Today, the members of Eta Kappa Nu at Oklahoma State University continue in the tradition of excellence by upholding the constitution, by-laws, and traditions of HKN.
